Void Glider is as deep as it sounds. This is analogue ambient music that lives in the low frequencies - grainy, warm, and possessed of a particular quality of sound that suggests age without being vintage. Thick, dreamy synth pads sustain and evolve slowly whilst a growling bass texture provides gravity, and long, warbling notes drift in and out of the mix like signals from something very distant. Occasional crystalline plinks punctuate the stillness with small moments of clarity before the depths close in again. It's hypnotic, soothing, slightly menacing, and rather long - all of which are features rather than bugs.
