Robotertanz - which translates as 'Robot Dance' - was originally the track that marked the 100th piece of royalty free music from Silverman Sound Studios, remixed for 2018 with appropriate ceremony. What it is, with complete and joyful self-awareness, is late-90s Eurotrash dance music of the highest order - fat beats thump along whilst a distinctive over-the-top synthetic hook does exactly what such hooks are supposed to do, which is lodge itself in your brain and refuse to leave. The cheesy piano stabs, the euphoric choir sample, the driving rhythm - all of it is executed with the kind of commitment that turns potential embarrassment into genuine entertainment. Pure Eurotrash from start to finish. Gotta love it.
