Noctua The Owl Track

Named after a constellation that is no longer recognised (see the Wikipedia link below for more details), this unusual piece comprises an ambient-drone track by virabelo and Julian Overall on soprano saxophone.

Two improvised recordings were made on the sax, one of them including some Philip Glass inspired repetitive phrasings, as featured at the beginning and middle part of the composition. EQ and reverb were added to certain elements during the mixing/production stage.
