Cowgirl In Blue Track

Cowgirl In Blue (Larry W. Jones 10/29/2006) (song#4103)
I went to the barn dance one night
To hear the fiddles and guitars play
And what I saw was quite a sight
Barn dances seem to be that way
|
There I met a cowgirl in blue
Waltzing with her was such a delight
And before I knew it, I knew
She stole my heart away that night
|
I still dream of that night when I met her
A sweet cowgirl in blue that I met
That night at the barn dance was a blur
That cowgirl in blue I’ll never forget
|
Dark blue were the skies, light blue her eyes
Like the blue western skirt that she wore
Oh, cowgirl in blue, say you love me too
So I won’t be blue anymore
|
There I met a cowgirl in blue
Waltzing with her was such a delight
And before I knew it, I knew
She stole my heart away that night
|
Dark blue were the skies, light blue her eyes
Like the blue western skirt that she wore
Oh, cowgirl in blue, say you love me too
So I won’t be blue anymore
