Colorado Valley Cowgirl Track

Colorado Valley Cowgirl (Larry W. Jones 11/29/2006) (song#4191)
I rode away from the ranch in the valley
And on many trails I roamed around
Now I hear Colorado mountains callin’
Goin’ back to that valley to settle down
|
Oh, how I miss that Colorado valley
And that sweet cowgirl I left behind
I’ve been gone but I’ve never forgot her
I’m gonna make that cowgirl mine
|
When I see her ranch, I’ll wonder
If everything is still the same
When I see the smile of my darlin’
I’m gonna ask her to change her name
|
Oh, how I miss that Colorado valley
And that sweet cowgirl I left behind
I’ve been gone but I’ve never forgot her
I’m gonna make that cowgirl mine
|
When I see her ranch, I’ll wonder
If everything is still the same
When I see the smile of my darlin’
I’m gonna ask her to change her name
|
Oh, how I miss that Colorado valley
And that sweet cowgirl I left behind
I’ve been gone but I’ve never forgot her
I’m gonna make that cowgirl mine
