Bluebonnets Of Texas Track

Bluebonnets Of Texas (Larry W. Jones 10/07/2006) (song#4038)
Bluebonnets of Texas, now see how they grow
That flower of Texas sure puts on a show
They cover the meadows, and their blue supplies
The color of my darlin’s Texas blue eyes
|
Wherever I ramble, wherever I roam
I always come back to my Texas home
When I see paintbrushes and bluebonnets too
That’s when I know I’m closer to you
|
Bluebonnets of Texas, now see how they grow
The flower of Texas sure puts on a show
They cover the meadows, and their blue supplies
The color of my darlin’s Texas blue eyes
|
We ain’t got much money, we work on a farm
Winters are mild, not hard to keep warm
We need a vacation from milking these cows
But my love thinks here is heaven anyhow
|
Every springtime when the month of May is due
Bluebonnets of Texas all come into view
Those bluebonnets get me to thinking of
The only darlin’ in Texas with eyes I love
