Blue Side Of The Track Track

Blue Side Of The Track (Larry W. Jones 10/30/2006) (song#4108)
This old town seems empty and cold
Even the sky has turned to black
All my dreams have been put on hold
My baby’s on a new found track
|
Every railroad track has two directions
Now, one goes forward, one goes back
She’s on that new disappearin’ section
And I’m walkin’ the blue side of the track
|
Yeah, I’m walkin’ the blue side of the track
Still tryin’ to figure out what went wrong
Somethin’ tells me I’ll never get her back
When she left, she said I couldn’t come along
|
Yeah, I’m walkin’ the blue side of the track
Somethin’ tells me I’ll never get her back
|
That girl was the center of my world
But now my world is filled with pain
My heart on her little finger was twirled
But she didn’t linger for that outbound train
|
Every railroad track has two directions
Now, one goes forward, one goes back
She’s on that new disappearin’ section
And I’m walkin’ the blue side of the track
I’m walkin’ the blue side of the track
