Hunting Goldilocks Track

This track takes the listener on a journey from outside a solar system, past large planetary bodies, asteroid fields, and cosmic debris in search of a Goldilocks Zone. The Goldilocks Zone found briefly (around the 4:20 mark), but the journey takes an unfortunate turn as the listener is pulled in to the star.

"Hunting Goldilocks" was a collaborative effort between myself and Jon Siemasko (Schemawound) and was composed/completed in 3 days as part of a Disquiet Junto assignment on October 29, 2020. The assignment included the following instructions:

The Assignment: Navigate a sonic space between the hospitable and the inhospitable.
Step 1: Familiarize yourself with the concept of the Goldilocks Zone. In interstellar terms, this is the zone of planetary orbit that, to oversimplify things, is neither too hot nor too cold to support life.
Step 2: Record a piece of music that moves back and forth between two inhospitable zones before finding one, à la Goldilocks and the Three Bears, that is just right.
