Jazz Study Sessions, Vol. 1 Album

Twelve jazz and chillhop cues written to sit behind something else: café and restaurant room tone, a rainy-night piece that leaves the top end clear for real rain, a four-minute acid jazz take for a full work block, and two bossa cuts under ninety seconds each that are meant to be looped rather than played once.

The useful distinction here is how much of each track is groove and how much is harmony. The chillhop cuts are mostly kit and room, which is what survives a noisy venue; the bebop and big band tracks carry real harmonic movement but are mixed down to background level, which is why they work where an actual jazz record would not.

All 320 kbps, no vocals, released under CC BY 4.0. Use them for café and restaurant playlists, study and focus streams, work-from-home footage, lifestyle vlogs and hospitality video. Credit Alex Morgan and you are done.
