Head Wire Matthew Melton describes his band's sound as "slop-pop" or "smooth punk," the result of merging the songwriting sensibility of, say, Arthur Lee with the glam-rock production techniques of Slade or The Sweet. You can also see them live on Friday the 2nd at Don Pedro's and Saturday the 3rd at Bruar Falls, both in Brooklyn; then they head back across the US to their home in Oakland. And be sure to pick up their "Artificial Clouds" album on Tic Tac Totally.
