In Scandinavia, in the darkest of winter, when icicles form on your eyelashes from the cold and time is almost at a standstill – people tell stories of the creatures living in the woods, the trolls and the giants, and other beings that are sometimes benign and sometimes as evil
as the darkest of the frozen night. The music of Stacxk paints a tonal picture of this world. In the new album “Water Stories” fans of ambient music and non-conformative song structures will discover a newfound audio pleasure. Inspired by the work of John Bauer and recorded and produced using a wide array of analogue equipment, the compositions and production emanates from the depicted stories of Nordic mythology and beyond.
