Biography
Basically, three kids having fun. Julian, Renadi and Mark met each other at school in 1976. During the first meeting, Mark proposed starting a band. For the next ten years, we would occasionally meet up at someone's home and make improvised music, using the instruments at hand. Everything was recorded on a cheap portable cassette recorder or on a more sophisticated Revox two track tape recorder. The music was a mess. It was dreadful. But there were brief moments when something coherent would emerge out of the blue. Despite those moments, we didn't think much of what we did. It was far removed from the music we liked to listen to, made by skilled musicians, who knew what they were doing. The tapes ended up in a cupboard and stayed there for many years. In 2003 we had a reunion, picking up where we left off. It rekindled our interest, and over the next years, selections were made in the form of albums.
