A Beat Odyssey Track

This was the first song I wrote for this album, believe I wrote it over 2 years ago, and at first it wasn't even for a release like this, it was going to end up on one of my beats EPs (If Only Life Was This Easy). As I started to get a couple of these types of songs where I had a beat but everything else was done with live instrumentation or using a MIDI keyboard, the whole point of the Easy EPs are for them to be easy and just sampling really, so songs like this don't really fit on them. That was what led to me deciding to work on another full length release, a year after this song was recorded, it would take more than another year to put the album together. This song is heavy, but also atmospheric.
