Rock, Metal & Sports Energy Album

Fourteen tracks split between two very different moods: eight rock, metal, punk and surf cues built for motion and energy, followed by six calmer acoustic, folk and Indian classical pieces. Three tracks — the classic rock highway cue, the short rock background cue and the surf rock wave — share the exact same key, E minor, the only three-way tie in the album. The Indian classical raga that closes the set is a genuine outlier in two directions at once: it is both the longest track here at four minutes thirty-five and, unexpectedly, the fastest tempo in the whole album at a hundred and forty-four beats per minute — length and speed pulling in opposite directions from what either alone would suggest. And the thirty-eight-second sports sting that opens the album turns out to be its loudest recording by peak level, ahead of every other track including the metal and thrash cues.
