Eleven corporate beds in two closely related idioms, split evenly by five and five, with one bright advertising cue standing between them. Eight of the eleven tracks share the exact same key, C major — the widest key concentration in this catalogue so far — and only three break it: two tracks in keys nothing else here uses, and one with no reliably detected key at all. That last one is the pivot of the record: it is the loudest recording, the brightest by a wide margin, the busiest in note events, and the flattest in dynamic range, all at once, standing between the warm acoustic-guitar set and the atmospheric ambient-pad set that follows it. Within the acoustic half, the explainer cue runs nearly a full minute longer than anything else in that group, built to carry a whole script rather than a short cut. Within the ambient half, the darkest and sparsest track of the eleven sits second-to-last, immediately before the close, and the album ends on the single widest dynamic range of all eleven — an arc that moves from near-silence to full rather than holding one level throughout.
