Eleven cues, and the odd volume of the three. Eight are conventional orchestral trailer scoring; the other three belong to no trailer library at all — an old-Bollywood cue with strings and tabla, a Tamil score with South Indian colour, and a chip-tone game soundtrack. The split shows up in the measurements rather than only in the styling: those three, together with the pure percussion piece, are the widest four tracks on the record in dynamic range, while the eight trailer cues sit compressed below them as the idiom demands. The two Indian scores are the only ones of their kind in this whole catalogue and they are sequenced together, the brighter and faster Bollywood cue first, the darker and quieter Tamil one second. The tempo band is the widest of the three volumes, from eighty-six beats per minute up to a hundred and fifty-two, against ninety-nine to a hundred and thirty-six on Volume 2. Six tracks are in a major key and four in a minor, and the eleventh has no key at all: the war-drum piece is so nearly pure percussion that the analysis cannot find a stable one, which is the clearest possible statement of what it is for. The record ends on the one track here with no drums and no measured tempo.
