Biography
2009 is a big turn for « Unity sound system » that changes its name for « Unity Vibration
». This famous band was started in 2002 by selecta Vidjah and selecta
JP, MC Jahjahman and MC Papachouch. Quickly, they get fame. Then Gill'us
(Red eyes band), Sista Kimaya (ex Strichly Roots) and Lion Size (Mets
ta donne) join and they turn on stage from France, Germany and
Switzerland. After Mc JP and MC Papachouch leaved, they took the form of
a powerful vocal trio (Jahjahman, Gill'us, Sista Kimaya). Three
characteristic and complementary voices layering over ragga/dancehall,
reggae and hip-hop versions, with lyrics in french, portuguese and
english.
Today, with more than 250 live gigs and the release of their
first street album (2008 « Faction ») they acquired a strong experience
with live bands and soundsystems. Unity Vibration prepares a new album (release spring 2010) on 100% original european riddims.
They recently introduced with talent : Sir Samuel (saian supa crew), Max Roméo, Junior Kelly Lyricson
Papet J (Massilia Sound System), Tonton David, Longfingah, Nuttea,
Prince Alla, Suga Roy et Conrad Krystal, Soldier of Jah Army, K2R Riddim Million Stylez, Bass Maker, Tribuman, PowPow Movement …
Unity, it's energy, osmosis and sharing. This definitely
reggae/dancehall collective aims to spread concious lyrics full of good
