PERIOD emerged as a duo of Mike Pride - drums and Charlie Looker - guitar. They pursued this idea for several years before crossing musical paths with the recent (as of a few years ago) additions of Darius Jones - sax and Chuck Bettis - electronics + throat. This line up itself morphs with the landscape, sometimes sans Darius or sans Chuck but always with Pride & Looker. Together the forge a wasteland not as sinister apocalyptic vision to hinder movement, but one to show as a reflection to initiate change.
