Description
"Morviscous are an instrumental five piece based in London and Paris whose compositions plunder the various genres of the 20th Century with a sensibility that belongs to the idiosyncratic British tradition of popular experimental music. Likened to both heritage artists such as Soft Machine and King Crimson and contemporary acts ala Battles and Don Cabellero, Morviscous interpret the influences around them with a distinctive Englishness that’s rare in today’s musical climate. Bottlenecking through the buffers of both the Jazz and Popular traditions, critics agree that MV are starting to ‘demand your attention".(Mike Barnes, Mojo 177 August 2008)Band Members:Pete Bennie - Jonny Mac - Christian Berg - Adam Coney - Nick SiddallContact:http://www.myspace.com/morviscous http://www.morviscous.com
