Description

WFMU Playlist and Archive In 2008, Sadeghi, who also records and performs as Son of Rose, released "Through Thickness," a collection of wicked electronic compositions on Yann Novak's Dragon's Eye Recordings. After contributing a track to the Michelangelo Antonioni tribute compilation "Translations of Opacity" on the sound art/environmental recordings label and/OAR (Marc Behrens, Steinbruchel, Francisco Lopez), earlier this year Sadeghi participated in the label's showcase at Diapason Gallery in Brooklyn. The Iranian-born musician has recently moved to New York, and this will be his first visit to WFMU!  -Daniel Blumin
