LOCATION:Aix-en-Provence, France
1969: born in Cherbourg, France. 1992: meets Pascal Dusapin, who inspires him and personally helps him to become a composer. He learns composition autodidactically. 1996: premier of his first piece, given in concert at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris by the ensemble Itinéraire. During the next ten years, he works with many different ensembles (Accroche Note, 2e2m, S:I.C., Der blaue Reiter, Trio Allers-Retours, Les Cris de Paris, Ictus…) and receives the precious support of Georges Aperghis and Gérard Pesson. 2003-2004: wins the Prix de Rome and lives for 2 years at the Académie de France à Rome, Villa Médicis.
In 2007, he moves to New York. With the soprano, Jody Pou, he founds SHSK’H, a company dedicated to recording and diffusing contemporary music on the internet. The site is online since November 2008.
