The album, stone focus, is what happens when hip-hop drums and sampling are assembled with the progressive and textural attitude of ambient electronica and by the excessive and unpredictable paradigm of the psychedelic music of the 60's. The samples used are completely eclectic in nature reaching across from mainstream rock to Arabic classical to Brazilian tropicala. The album is gritty, scratchy and towards the low end of the sound spectrum, giving it the feeling that it's been hidden somewhere, slowly decaying for a number of years. The tracks flow seamlessly together, but you'll have to download the album to appreciate that.
