Biography
Stuart Cameron aka Deltason, has been producing his own brand of electronic music since 2006.
Based in Scotland, and often collaborating with other musicians and friends, he has released music on net-labels Section 27, Minder, and Acousmatic Records, as well as self-releasing his own music via Bandcamp.
Regular musical collaborators who have featured on Deltason music include Colin Campbell (turntables & scratching), Lesley Pert, (vocals, harp, keyboard) Barry Pert (guitar) Anthony Harvey, (guitar)and Elliott Winchcole (live drums).
He has released two albums: 'Remote Sensing' (2021 - self released via Bandcamp) and 'Solar Phases' (2012 - released via Section 27 netlabel).
He has also released two six-track EPs - 'Lost:Found EP' (2006) and 'Audio Streams EP' (2007)., both via netlabel Acousmatic Records.
In 2020 Stuart compiled both EPs, featuring some newer updated versions of those early tracks, into a 12-track compilation album release - 'Lost & Found Sounds (EP Tracks 2006 - 2007)' - available for download from his Bandcamp page.
He has remixed artists such as Neotropic and Capitals and has contributed to compilation albums on Section 27, Burnt Progress / CDR, De-Fence Records, and Minder.
He has performed live as Deltason, at various venues and events such as CDR Plastic People (London), Le Weekend Festival, Tronic Glasgow and Shuffle Down Festival.
Live Deltason performances have often featured the same friends and musicians who have featured on Deltasons music.
Stuart is currently working on new music for a new Deltason album.
