Phoning It In 04/20/05 Radio Program

Artist and rock legend Daniel Johnston phones it in from Waller, TX. He's collaborated with Half Japanese, Sparklehorse, the Butthole Surfers, Okkervil River, and Yo La Tengo, with whom he phoned in his vocals while they played live in the studio on WFMU in 1990. Ghostly in two senses, both haunting and stripped of body, raw, literally in the spirit. And totally sweet in two senses as well, warm and awesome.
