ColorFields: A Gallery of Dances is an original score created in collaboration with the Judy Dworin Performance Project, Inc. for their newest dance production, inspired by the late works of abstract expressionist painter, Helen Frankenthaler.

The piece was filmed on location at the exhibition 'Helen Frankenthaler: Late Works: 1990 - 2003 running through May 23 at the New Britain Museum of American Art in New Britain, Connecticut.

Tracks 1-7 of this album were made in response to paintings of Helen Frankenthaler and of the solo dances created and performed by members of the JDPP Ensemble under the artistic direction of Judy Dworin.

Along with the original score, tracks 8-12 are pieces used in the film licensed from my earlier album releases.
