Camden Joy (1 Albums, 6 Tracks)

Camden Joy is a writer, music critic, poster artist, and singer of songs about the scandal-plagued Presidential Coin series.  His book "Boy Island" recounted the story of the band Cracker's first tour, with the addition of fictional drummer Camden Joy.  In a late-90s poster series, he attacked the CMJ music
festival before it was cool; in another series, he heralded the Chicago band Souled American before it was cool.  He's eternally pre-cool.  He'll visit WFMU's Airborne Event to bray songs, strum the guitar, and say stuff in advance of his November 4th talk at Housing Works NYC and his November 8th keynote address to the Midwest Modern Language Association in lovely Milwaukee. -- Dan Bodah
