St. Stephen's Joint Church Brigade

Recorded in Kalimbe, Uganda by Bruce Miller, July 20th, 2015   I could hear this band in the distance, as I was recording two other musicians. When we wandered down the hill to check them out, they turned out to be be kids cranking out the rawest of grooves on home made instruments plugged into a monitor with car batteries for power. They played the St. Stephen's Joint Church every Sunday. Brutal, at times atonal, almost falling apart constantly. Oh, how they rocked!
