the first song i played was 'Constellations' and it's about the solor system, one of my favourite things to write about. i like to compare bodies to the sky, how they start out blank with just a few freckles, similar to stars and then by the time you're ancient you have lots and lots of freckles. well, you're a walking sky filled with constellations. with a walking stick.
the second song i played was called 'the crown'. i like to envision people hiding crowns underneath their hair.
the third song i played was 'the horse'. it's a love song. i love animals.
the fourth song i played was 'Woman'. i wrote it in my bedroom, like all of my songs, but on this particular night that i wrote it the moon had a brilliant glow around it. a ring. my friend in Boston sent me a very detailed explanation for it's particular glow.
the last song i played was 'over the hill'. i'd like the world to be a little more flat sometimes. it'd make travel easier.
love and magic and birds! x o x o
