Description

The Seizures is a new
quartet from Providence's premier accordion player Alec K Redfearn.
Redfearn is a consistently compelling composer, and his most recent
visit to WFMU was with Providence avant-jazz group Barnacled.This new
formation is inspired by everything from Eastern European folk traditions and Kurt Weill, to Captain Beefheart and the Wipers. They refuse to be
categorized as gypsy punk.Redfearn is joined by fellow Eyesores members Chris Sadlers on contrabass, and drummer Matt McLaren(WFMU Playlist/Archive)
