🧩 CLUE 1

Open the artist page of Another Brick. On this page you will find an album named ‘Avant la Lettre’. Start track #6 ‘Hear the Birds’. What instrument do you hear from 01m41s onwards? Write down the name of this instrument. Like ‘clue #1 = ...’

🧩 CLUE 2

Open Free Music Archive’s Search Engine. You will see an option to search for text, a license selector, all music/only instrumental switch, genres and more options. Let’s play with this! In the text field type Missisippi, open genres and add ‘blues’, click ‘ok’. Lastly click the magnifier icon to start your search. Only 1 search result will show. Write down the second word of the ‘album name’.

🧩 CLUE 3

Free Music Archive allows you to stream and download loads of music for free. Most songs are ‘Creative Commons’ licensed. But many people landing on Free Music Archive also like to reuse / remix songs for their TikTok, YouTube, Twitch or podcast content. Check our License Guide to learn which licenses are suitable for this. And of course to find the next word, LOL. Open the license Guide. The first chapter is ‘What's A Music License?’ Go to the third paragraph, third sentence. You are looking for the word after ‘can be...’. Write down this word.

For this clue we make a little tour to our friends at Coil. Did you check their website and information already? Go to their help page. You will find a lot of answers to questions you might still have. So take a bit of time to browse this page. To find the word we are looking for go to the section ‘Still have questions?’ and write down the second word of the third sentence.

🧩 CLUE 5

Free Music Archive is a great platform for netlabels and musicians to present their original music. Some artists use FMA extensively. Visit the page of musician Derek Clegg. In the top right corner you see a button ‘Play Page’. This button can be found on many FMA music pages and will play the first to the last song on a specific page. In this case, 1 click will play 430 songs!! Back to the Treasure Hunt! Scroll down to the album ‘All Those Days To Feel Better’. The word we are looking for is the ‘metal’ named in the title of the first track of this album.

🧩 CLUE 6

A lot of the music selections you will find on Free Music Archive is hand-selected by curators. In the main menu bar you will find music selections based on ‘genres’. Open the ‘genre’ menu on our home page. Select the ‘JAZZ’ genre. This takes you to this page, right? One of the cool things is that curators did their utmost to even create sub-genres for you. In this case you see 6 sub-genres. Write down the second word of the 4th sub-genre (from left to right).

Did you find 6 words? Whoot! You are almost done.

🧩 Final Task

The sentence we are looking for looks like: [Word] [word] a [word] [word] [word] of [word]. The words you found are not in the correct order so you have to puzzle a bit.

Did you read our earlier remark about the extra clue after using the Coil extension tipping tool in your browser? Pay attention to the ‘thank you’ pop-up screen after you tip us. You will find the correct order of the words (clue 1 – 6) to form the sentence.
