The Anchroas are one of Kisumu's only roots reggae bands. Many people can't play the acoustic shit because they can't afford to pay for acoustic guitars. But the Anchoras have managed to secure a few, and using a water jug as percussion, they play heartical rasta jams. On Sundays they usually get together under a tree in a kale field where some of them work, burn shocking amounts of green and jam for hours. That's where we recorded this track, and it was a beautiful scene.
