"In 2005, Providence, RI's Lame Drivers secretly released The Captain Amazing EP - five hook-filled and fuzzed out songs conceived in a New Jersey basement, developed in Providence Rhode Island, and messily birthed onto a handful of CD-Rs. Then they went on hiatus.
In 2007, 75orLess Records reissued their debut EP plus five bonus tracks. Not far removed from GBV, Replacements, Hüsker Dü, The Zeros, Elvis Costello, The Capstan Shafts."
