Almost. “Lower Yer Heart,” off sixth album Clandestine Songs (out July 20 via the Grover label), begins with quiet piano drops and guitar strums between multi-layered exaltations to the power of love. Then, in the fashion of Architecture In Helsinki, the sweet ditty collects speed and instruments to cresendo into a full-blown rock ‘n’ roll anthem, complete with crashing cymbals and hard electric-guitar chords.
