KBOO is an independent, volunteer-driven and listener-supported community radio station that celebrates music. Our arts, cultural, and musical programming covers a wide spectrum of expression from traditional to experimental, and reflects the diverse cultures we serve in the music-rich city of Portland, Oregon. KBOO strives for spontaneity and programming excellence, both in content and technique.
From our first broadcast in 1968, KBOO has provided programming, training and access for underserved communities. Over 5500 members and 500 volunteers power the station.

CTV
Ranging from the melodic to the absurd, CTV is Christian Television is Joshua Inwood. Currently residing in Portland Oregon, CTV mixes, makes, tapes and tempers on his keyboards and laptops. Included in his soundscapes you can hear television chefs whirring chocolate mousse while simultaneously tasting a sweet absence of linear rhythms.

BOOM!
BOOM! is a band, loud with shoes kicking out from underneath skateboards down Southeast Portland neighborhoods. Hood rats pile into cars, they turn up their speakers to the radio wishing that the radio was playing their song. Not THEIR song but a song to grit their hard teeth into. BOOM! comes to you here with 3 songs, the fourth being Karate Chops, two out of three of the members. A hand with no puppet, they shred their guitars in your face for your birthday.
