Ben My Little Dinosaur Friend Track

Hummingbirds are actually dinosaurs! All birds on the planet are too. Hummingbirds are the smallest dinosaurs in existence. One sits outside my window, and we are friends. I love him! His name is Ben. So I wrote a song for him.

Birds have skeletons like that of dinosaurs, which allows them to stand upright. For about 50 million years, dinosaurs went from an average of 400 pounds in size down to an average of less than 2 pounds.

He crosses the sea when the seasons change
Hundreds of miles he flies each day
And when he arrives in the middle of L.A.
I put out my hand and he wants to play

From dawn’s first glow till the day’s soft end
He’s a miracle in motion, a prehistoric gem
I’m so lucky to share my days with him
