Not only have the neopsychedelic experimental pop collective reunited after a hiatus of more than a decade, they are returning to WFMU to pick up where they left off during their resplendent 1997 live session on Gaylord Fields's program. The most overtly lysergic-sounding of the Elephant 6 bands, Olivia Tremor Control offer up their update/synthesis of the melodicism of the mid-60s' Killer B's (Beatles, Beach Boys, Barrett) with ample musique concrète passages and instrumental freakouts to enhance their glorious eccentricity.
