Left of Center by Steve Combs
This is an album! "Brand New Record!" was the first real merging of pre- and post-TSAB sensibilities: the electronic sounds meeting the synthesized acoustic sounds in a glorious collision of sonic wonderment. Or, y'know, whatever this is. I should note that these songs are mixed somewhat differently from the rest of my music, and play at varying volumes. I've tried to correct it as much as I can, but they really need to be properly mastered, which they are not. It's a regretful error on my part, but the songs are still reasonably high fidelity, and can still be enjoyed
by your friendly ears. This re-release contains the original 9 songs, 8 remixes, one non-album track, "Little Tin Synths", which some may remember as being released on the FMA a few months ago. Over the coming months, I'll be re-releasing every one of my albums to celebrate one year of making music. I'll put up these new versions on the Free Music Archive every Monday afternoon through March and April, and they will appear in other places later in the week. The re-releases contain the original tracks, their remixes, and various non-album tracks that I've accumulated over the past year. This project is meant to streamline my discography and create a complete, definitive body of work. I hope you enjoy!
