In early August 2018 an Indian musician (B C Manjunath) uploaded a track to Youtube that went viral (a konnakol performance based around the Fibonacci sequence).
I decided to do a metal version based around the rhythms in it, and that's what the song on this page is.

Konnakol is "the art of performing percussion syllables vocally in South Indian carnatic music. (It is) the spoken component of solkattu, which refers to a combination of konnakol syllables spoken while simultaneously counting the tala (meter) with the hand."
The Fibonacci sequence is characterised by the fact that every number after the first two is the sum of the two preceding numbers.

In the music I wrote for this track:
-The kick drum is based off the voice
-The snare drum is based off the hand claps
-I wrote everything else to compliment the rest.

I made a composite video ( incorporating the original (with permission) with my music and added visual branding. You can hear his original vocal/clap performance still in my version, just at a lower level (and, of course, see what he is doing) as well.
