"Robin Storey and Shaun Sandor stopped by to do two improvised sets for Noise and Syrup. Storey, who has long worked as Rapoon, and was a co-founder of legendary outfit Soviet France (zoviet-france), assembles a textured and trance-like collage of ethnic loops, radio samples and various sounds of unknown origins. Sandor performing as Promute performs a sparser combination of improvised metal and synth, with rhythms rising and disappearing again. He also runs the label Blondena Music."
