Opaque Studies I Album

suRRism-Phonoethics is proud to Mutate - 'Opaque Studies I'!
 
Opaque Studies I comprises two single-take, improvised guitar soundscapes, and one
piece built from layered manipulations of these recordings, plus other material
from the same session. There are no overdubs.
The intention behind these recordings was to find a way to build dense soundfields
in a live context - something I'd previously found problematic, primarily in terms
of PA feedback.
Tracks 1 & 2 were recorded live at The Lab. Track 3 assembled at the same.
All production, artwork, etc: MUTATE.
