Cate Le Bon: Singer-songwriter based in Cardiff, Wales. She sings in Welsh and English. Damien Jurado: Indie rock from Seattle. He has experimented with tape recordings and found sound culled from answering machines and thrift store tape recorders. Dr. Dog: An indie rock band hailing from West Grove. Pennsylvania. They are strongly influenced by psychedelic rock and folk music from the 1960's. Dry The River: An English folk rock band
formed in London in 2009. Elliott Brood: A three-piece alt-country band from Toronto. Fan Fiction: Indie rock from Seattle. Fatal Lucciauno: Seattle-based rapper known for his intelligent and soulful lyrics. He has been rapping and writing poetry for most of his life. James Apollo: A roots-rock and roll songwriter and musician born in Arkansas. Lyrically he references figures like William Faulkner and Tom Waits. Musically his work calls to mind classic Americana. Laura Gibson: Laura is a Portland-area folk singer and songwriter. She has collaborated with musicians like Laura Veirs, Danny Seim, and Rachel Blumberg in the past. Live Wyya: A roots reaggae band based out of Ochos Rios, Jamaica. Los Campesinos!: Hailing from Cardiff, Los Campesinos! play hectic and noisy pop music notable for its interesting and varied instrumentation and heartfelt vocals. Mark Lanegan: Mark is an alt-rock musician from Seattle. His original band, Screaming Trees, was at the forefront of the 90's grunge scene. His solo material is bluesy rock in the vein of Tom Waits Nada Surf: Nada Surf is an alternative band from New York. They formed in 1992 and have been together ever since. Quasi: An indie rock band out of Portland, Oregon. Formed in 1993, the band features Sam Coomes (The Donner Party, Heatmiser) and Janet Weiss (Sleater-Kinney, Wild Flag). State of the Artist: a three-person rap group from Seattle. Strong production and stand-out lyrics characterize this band's music. The Asteroids Galaxy Tour: A Danish pop band who has opened for Amy Winehouse and supported Katy Perry on one of her European tours. The Jet Age: An American indie rock band from Washington D.C. They have been compared to Ted Leo, Dinosaur Jr., The Wedding Present, Husker Du, The Clean, The Feelies, and The Who. Thee Midnight Creep: Bill Campbell hails from North Carolina. His music is reminiscent of Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Lee Hazelwood, and PJ Harvey. Veronica Falls: indie pop from London. They have released the majority of their records on Captured Tracks and Slumberland.
