My name is Alan Singley. I was born in Indiana in 1982. I am music.
I know how to communicate with orchestras. I specialize in pretty music, you know, like new age type stuff. I work quickly and shun normal human activities for my music. I am obsessed with the
symphonic lifestyle. I sleep and make music, sleep and make music. I am composing for a 150 person choir this Fall, which I received a grant for.
I am looking forward to seeing how the soundtrack world compares to the symphony. While waiting for projects, I’ll be curating my own films and soundtracking those. I prefer to work with genuinely obsessed artists.
My heroes: Burt Bacharach, Henry Mancini, Ravel, Charles Ives, Brian Eno, John Williams, Jobim, Gil Evans, Alan Silvestri, Hans Zimmer, Krzysztof Penderecki.
