Following up from previous Vulpiano release Various Extras comes Abishai’s Netlabel Day special Memento Mori. Like Various Extras, this is another colorful assortment of jams, spoken word adventures, and noisy cacophony. Abishai’s playful sense of humor (”Forgot to Put My Phone on Mute”) and an encyclopedic knowledge of music for his youthfulness, providing reference points for his own work and jumping off into otherworldly territory.
