erinculled: RIDING THE SIN EXPRESS TO POLICY TOWN
A small selection of tracks from artists I have loved to death this here 20/10.
Not that I have gone to the extent of working out the ah positioning, for the following loving sentiment, but IF I had to be in a Human Centipede with any band, it would have to be Angels in America. Packing diistorted riffs with staggering lyrical content voiced by sorrow and delivered with a weird emotional punch. This all has caused for obsessive listening.
Now, I guess as 2011 approaches I am freaking out a little, I have been trying new foods because I know there is only just over a year until THE END. Had this not been the case, I would have NEVER listened to something of the fusion-core/break-core/baroqure-core/anything but hard/metal-core genre. Yet I am glad I did, because Igorrr, well, no general explanatory terms whatsoever invade my mind. White Suns probed my soul with their unmelodiousness coarse awesomeness and violent outbursts and are generally the one thing that makes me miss New York. Kowloon Walled Citys technical abilty sucks all the air out of the room - in the best way possible.
Without God is a sludgey sinister beast interlaced with dense guitar work. BRUTAL AS HELL. But if truly old school, uncompromising straight up hardcore is what you desire, Pissed Jeans won’t fail ya.
Then there ist the wallowing tremolo riffs and chugging heaviness of The Communion. They seriously encourage the darker aspects of human thought. Pierced Arrows gives me the same enjoyment that one gets from watching an Anthony Bourdain: No Resevations marathon. I ah, really like that show.
Now, T.O.M.B. This recording -- 'Satan's Place, Order of the Black Wolf' -- is why is actually stuck to ten tracks.Full of those moodier moments coming from brooding darkness to swallow you up. And yeah, ten. Heavy Medical - Can't wait for these guys to be fully developed!!!! Recommended to the sort of folk who like grime everyone.
