Biography
They released their Debut EP "Intersections" in 2024 which has garnered substantial College and Freeform radio airplay across the U.S. and beyond. Their sound blends jangly guitars enveloped by razor sharp angular guitar lines, a driving rhythm section and unforgettable melodies. They have been consistently playing live shows around the Twin Cities since the EP's release. The band is working on a new full-length album and just completed tracking at legendary Pachyderm Studios (Nirvana/PJ Harvey/Wedding Present/ Alan Sparhawk etc).Sunken Planes consists of Michael Banning-Guitars/Vocals, Jacob Poling- Guitars, Joel Almberg- Bass Guitar, Nick Blake-Drums.

My only complaint here is that everything ends too soon, given the brevity of this EP’s five songs – start to finish barely cracks a quarter hour. A debut long-player can’t come fast enough for me.
