A mosaic of broken moods Album

The album “Mosaic of Broken Moods” tells of a young man who falls in love with a girl and realizes what he needs for happiness — but their different social statuses keep them apart. He tries to move on and immerse himself in everyday life, yet constantly thinks of her. He decides to leave for distant lands to find a new destiny: he invites his girlfriend to meet him at the pier before he sets sail, says goodbye to her and boards a ship. Having arrived at the port of the Big City, he starts anew. Years pass. One day, resting on a pier bench, he falls asleep — and upon waking sees his first love walking towards him. The album "A Mosaic of Broken Moods" is both a standalone musical release and an original soundtrack to the author's story.


As an album, my music is open to any personal associations;
As a soundtrack, it accompanies a specific story.
The listener is free to choose how to perceive my music.

I, Sergey Valentinovich Lobanov, acted as composer, performer, arranger, sound engineer, producer, and publisher. The entire process—from composition to final mastering—was completed independently. I play all the instruments featured on the recording.

The album is written in the classical chamber music genre. My music is not intended for loud performances, but for those who desire privacy. It is pleasant to listen to it with good headphones to truly appreciate the sound of classical wind instruments.
