Biography
This project comprises completely improvised pieces on the saxophone, performed by Julian Overall, with the aim of exploring rhythm and harmony. In recent years, not only have I been able play modern jazz and have fun with that, but also rock, pop, chanson and even experimental music, with elements of these creeping into my improvisiational style. My listening choices over the decades additionally inform my playing, which betrays elements of English folk and progressive rock.
