Christian Orji (born December 10, 2004, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria), known professionally as Lordmoon[/b], is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer, and the founder of the independent label Madiq Empire[/b]. Raised in a family of seven, Lordmoon was inspired to pursue music during his final years at Eritoy College[/b] where he completed senior secondary school in 2020.
Though humble beginnings — recording early songs on his phone via BandLab — marked the start of his journey, Lordmoon’s passion and dedication transformed that modest beginning into a serious musical path.
He initially released music under the name “Alcohol,” including the EP 18 AND COUNTING[/i][/b], with songs like “I Love You,” “2 Seconds,” and “Fall.” However, after encountering copyright issues with the name, he rebranded to “Lordmoon” — a name he felt resonated uniquely within the Nigerian music scene.
Under his new moniker, Lordmoon dropped “Fine (2023 Edition)” on May 5, 2023 — featuring Legit Bossz (also known as Edison Miracle), a collaborator from his early days. That same year, on May 24, he released “I No Know,” further cementing his sound and marking the beginning of a new era under his own independent brand.
In 2024, Lordmoon founded Madiq Empire[/b], a record label aimed at discovering and promoting emerging talent. Through Madiq Empire he seeks to provide a platform for artists who lack access to mainstream infrastructure — offering them creative freedom, exposure, and support.
