This is an email Kira wrote herself and we emailed it to the radio station, when she was in the hospital
My Songs are like diaries before they happen. I've never done social media or let out of my own songs for that matter......but I will be short end of life soon with Rad51 MUTANT GENE causing ovarian cancer and TMBC.
Having struggled to be still for scans, listening to this song was the only way to have a successful scan so maybe this will be useful for somebody else

Very powerful emotional song and brings back the meaning of life to us all. Wish we were friends for longer and that the cruel cancer took you away. Missing you and your music so much. Hopefully we will meet again in the next realm.

Great stuff - this song is a real grower - gets better on each listen. I really enjoyed listing to the whole collection of songs from Kira. The different styles give a good illustration of just how talented she was. I am struggling to think of another artist who could move seemlessly from Bluegrass, to a full orchestra, to tender love song. I will keep this collection and treasure it.
