David J. Barrios

I've been playing and composing instrumental metal for 15 years now, learning mixing, mastering, and production techniques to create different tracks, some dark and heavy and others bright and to the more melodic side. I started playing in a band called "Chainsaws Melody" when I was a teenager in the island of Tenerife/Spain, my parents gifted me an 8 string electric guitar because I was obsessed with the bands Animals as Leaders and Meshuggah and the whole "djent" movement in metal music. Since then I've been listening to many different genres of music, but mainly progressive metal, classical music and latin music. I've uploaded some of my songs here because I want to bring value to the world and I like the idea of people using my tracks for something they find useful if they like my music. Some compositions are recent and some others were in my PC for many years before I took them in the years of 2022-2026 and produced them today with the knowledge I gained throught audio education, experience and trial and error, I hope these are useful for you and please credit me in the description of your content if you use my songs, thank you for your time.
